黒部峡谷鉄道では、鉄道の日を記念したイベントを開催します。
車両展示やピットに潜っての普段は見られない機関車の裏側、犬釘打ち、鉄腕ダッシュでおなじみの手漕ぎトロッコの乗車体験ができます！！
また、黒部峡谷鉄道をはじめ、JR、富山地方鉄道、富山ライトレール、セントラム、万葉線、アルペンルート、あいの風とやま鉄道の特設ブースを設け、鉄道グッズ販売や資料展示をおこないます。再来年春開業！！北陸新幹線コーナーもあります！

日時：平成２５年１０月１２日（土）　１０時００分～１６時００分（予定）
会場：黒部峡谷鉄道　宇奈月駅前広場

～体験型イベント～
１．車庫見学
場所　機関車検修庫
内容　機関車、客車、貨車の展示（凸型機関車も展示）、
~~ピットに潜っての床下機器を見学。~~※変更になりました。
機関車の車体と台車をバラして展示。

２．犬釘打ち体験
場所　宇奈月駅前広場
内容　保線区員監修のもと、実際に犬釘を打ちを体験。

３．手漕ぎトロッコの乗車体験
場所　機関車検修庫
内容　手漕ぎトロッコを運転。

場所　物販を宇奈月駅前広場で、展示を宇奈月駅２Ｆ待合室にて行う
内容　富山県内の鉄道会社の鉄道グッズを販売し、ジオラマ等の展示物を展示。

内容　お子さんを対象にプラレールを使って遊んでもらう。
